Macarons are a traditional French cookie made with almonds. The ideal of this recipe is that it can be filled with your favorite cream. For this reason, we present different variants to surprise your guests.

Lemon cream filling: perfect for a Sunday with the family

Ingredients:

  • Peel of two lemons
  • Half a cup of lemon juice
  • 50 gr. of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk

Preparation:

  • Add the lemon zest and juice along with the sugar in a saucepan over low heat.
  • In a bowl, mix the egg with the yolk and a little lemon juice. Integrate the ingredients well.
  • Then add that mixture to the one in the pot, cook until it thickens. Leave on the fire for a few minutes and then remove.
  • Let the cream cool, and then fill the macarons.

Chocolate cream filling: the perfect snack for a party

Ingredients:

  • 100 cc of liquid cream
  • 2 gelatin sheets
  • 50g butter
  • 100 g of chocolate
  • 30g sugar

Preparation:

  • First, heat the cream in a pot, add the gelatin sheets previously moistened in warm water.
  • When the preparation is very hot. Then add the chocolate and mix well until melted.
  • Then, we add the butter together with the sugar. When everything is well integrated, place the mixture in a bowl and let it cool.
  • When the cream is a little thicker. Finally, fill the macarons with the help of a sleeve.

Violet cream fillings: ideal for a family gathering

Ingredients:

  • 40 g of cream point butter
  • 40 g cream cheese
  • 150 g icing sugar
  • Scent of violet
  • Colorant

Preparation:

  • First, mix all the ingredients except the food coloring.
  • When it is well integrated, add a couple of drops of the violet food coloring and mix until you get the desired tone.
  • And finally, put it in the fridge for half an hour before filling the macarons.

Coffee cream fillings: for a day with your friends

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 60g sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (refined cornmeal)
  • 1 tablespoon of instant coffee

Preparation:

  • First, in a pot, add the eggs together with the sugar. Then shake them a bit.
  • Then add the cornstarch diluted in a little cold milk, and the rest of the milk.
  • Bring to a simmer and let it thicken.
  • Already thick, we remove from the heat and add the instant coffee diluted in a little milk. Mix with the cream and place it on the fire for another minute.
  • Finally, let it cool to fill the macarons.

Pina Colada fillings

Ingredients:

  • 135 g butter
  • 270 g icing sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of coconut milk
  • Coconut scent
  • 2 slices of pineapple in syrup
  • Grated coconut for garnish

Preparation:

  • First, take the pineapple and chop it into small pieces, one for each macaron.
  • In a bowl, add the butter and icing sugar, beat until white. Then pour in the coconut milk and the aroma.
  • Then, in a pastry bag, add all the cream inside it. Take one of the macaron tops and place a little of the preparation in the center and a pineapple square on top, press a little with another cover.
  • In a tray spread the grated coconut and roll the macaron around the edges so that the coconut sticks in the cream.
  • Finally, when all the macarons are done, store them in an airtight container for at least 24 hours before consuming. This is done so that the flavor matures and tastes much better.
